I would absolutely give her a hide. Even if she doesn’t end up using it much, I think most rabbits would feel much better about having the option.

I would stop applying it and request a different medication from the vet.

Aside from knowing their parent’s, the best that can be done is posting pictures and drawing from people’s experience.

I agree, I think she’d appreciate a hide. Even if she maybe wont use it much, it offers a sense of security just knowing it is there in case she needs it.

Hmm… from personal experience, I would say that Boo could benefit from having a hide. They are perfect places to just chill when buns are stressed, scared, or angry 😉
Ooh good lucky with Walter’s neuter and the bonding!! 😀

Switched up Boos temp home as I’m going to need the crate for destructive pup.
She was in a xl dog crate which was, in it’s own way, a hide.
Now she’s in an xpen, which is practically completely open.
She is a pretty laid back girl, but should she have a hide? Maybe a dark towel over one end???
Can’t wait for the bonding after Walter’s…[Read more]

Obviously Walter and Boo are lionhead mixes based on their ears.
Any way to tell what? Walter has lopped ears, Boos are upright, but too long for purebred.
Also, of course I would never breed any animal, sometimes it’s fun to think about.
I’d like to think that they would have purple eyes babies! 🙂

She was prescribed a spray called “Douxo Pyo Micro-emulsion Spray”.
Yes that is what he ears are appearing like… as if they are burnt.
I rinsed her ears and have been trying to apply a cool compresent on them.I am unsure of what else to do…
Poor thing…. 🙁

LBJ10 replied to the topic runny eye in the forum HOUSE RABBIT Q & A 5 years, 3 months ago
The sneezing fits suggest there is something else going on. I wouldn’t assume the eye weeping in unrelated. If your bunny has a URI, it can spread to the eye through a tube that connects the eye to the sinus. Antibiotic eye drops would not reach the infection in the sinuses. I would have the vet take a look again. Even if your bunny doesn’t have…[Read more]

What are you using? It isn’t unheard of for anti-fungals to cause irritation. They can “burn” already angry skin.

My rabbit right eyes is always watery, it feels sticky and is white and sometimes is clear. And his fur is around his eyes is like clump up? But when he cleans it, the clumping goes away. I brought him to the vet he did say he had a bacteria in his eyes but is heal now because of antibiotics but the watering never stop. And someone said to me some…[Read more]

There are different treatments, so I would communicate with your vet about this adverse reaction. When I treated Wick for his ringworm, there was an oral medication and topical. I documented a lot here, if it would be helpful: https://binkybunny.com/forums/topic/update-fungalringworm-tx-no-actual-worms-involved/
