Just a quick update here.
Bun had a string of not great days and we were getting very worried, but we got him seen by a new vet who is SO MUCH better. We gave him a sanitary shave and adjusted his pain meds (increased metacam dosage and going to add in Tramadol, but that will arrive in a couple days), and we’re going to see how he does with that.…[Read more]

I think this is mostly repeating info from your other thread, but in case this didn’t get shared I also found this video really helpful:
Another thing to do is to track good days and bad days, because it can be hard to tell the balance when you are in it.
I’m very sorry you are…[Read more]

I’m sorry you’re having this problem! It seems it’s about old plumbing. If that’s not seen too (which is extremely expensive and involves the whole building), they can renovate the kitchen all they want, it wont take care of the problem.
I dont think home insurance will cover water damage if you do indoors plumbing yourself and something goes…[Read more]

Any outside construction would have to be done by the council. Legally a contractor would not be able to do any outside construction without the councils permission. Work can be done from inside the property with no issues. I could hire a plumber to do the work then charge the council although not straight forward because I still have to down…[Read more]

Thank you all for your replies <3 That checklist is great and shows me it’s not time yet but it might soon. I really hope I don’t regret this by waiting too long.
Thanks again 🙂

I don’t know what parameters there are in Council residences, but would they be agreeable to outside consultation from a plumber/contractor and rather than you doing it, you pay a third party (who you trust after consulting) to help you find a longer term fix?

I don’t think its anything to worry about. I call one of my bunnies booboo it just came to me one day when I was cuddling her and I have been calling her that name since.

I live in a Council property and the pluming is terrible and has been for years. The kitchen sink is always getting blocked, I don’t pour fat down it or anything like that and the U bend is always clear when I check it so the blockage happens further down. I also get no hot water in the kitchen I only get hot water in the bathroom and its been…[Read more]

I have a new plan… which means I can hang on to all my bunnies. I will get on a vets waiting list as soon as I find a fair priced vet because its not just about the money but also its about morels and rightfulness because what they are doing I’m strongly against and I don’t want to be a part of it by giving in to it. I will wait until a…[Read more]

I’m going to build some new bunny homes for my three bunnies. I will upload photos and discuss things as I go along.
Those of you who have read my previous posts will know I’ve had a lot of difficulty finding a vet to spay and neuter my bunnies and because of this it has caused me and the bunnies a lot of stress because I have to keep them all…[Read more]

Given how hard it has been to find a vet, your best seems like it would be to pick the vet that you would like to be a client with long term, and get on their wait list. Waiting till next year seems unlikely to help, as the waitlist would prob be just as long. You can get on the list for the bun that is the most important to do first, and then…[Read more]

I moved it to the behavior section for you!
Maybe you could add a very low sided litter box to the spot where you currently pile the hay, and then just pile the hay in the box?

My buns (Bun Jovi especially) LOVE palm plates. I get organic chemical free ones online and they love them. They are just fiber so I don’t think they would upset your bun’s tummy.
I also second the dried willow leaves! My buns love the willow wreaths from the BB store.
