I’ve never seen anything like this before but this is my second bunny, a new addition to the family, he’s 5 months old and recently I noticed his nose has got cracks. He doesn’t seem to have that anywhere else, and my other bun is unaffected. He’s not scratching out of the ordinary though he does sneeze every now and then when eating or drinking, but no discharge. What could this be?

I think Insta stories only show for a limited time, so I couldn’t find it.

You can email me pics of your bun and I’ll put them up in your thread. I’ll send you a DM with instructions!

I could be way off, but it kinda reminds me of the beginning of molt lines. I know sometimes a bunny’s first molt is pretty intense and they can end up with some crazy molt lines or bald patches. Although, to be fair, my buns who get molt lines on their face usually get it around the nose, not on it.

Are there any other animals in the house that could have perhaps scratched him across the nose, leaving a bit of a line like that?
