Bam replied to the topic Rabbit loud tooth grinding or clicking. Vet didn't find any problems. in the forum BEHAVIOR 4 years, 8 months ago
They can purr loudly. My bun Bam purred so loud it could be heard throughout a room, especially when he was lying in my mum’s lap when we were visiting and she pet him. He jumped into her lap himself and demanded pets, so it was totally voluntary on his part (mum didn’t really have a choice though).
You should of course keep an eye, but without…[Read more]

Hello everyone! Like the title says my rabbit has been loudly clicking her teeth but the vet didn’t find any issues. My rabbit is also not showing any other signs of pain or discomfort. Except for itching ears which the vet gave her some flea meds, also gave her some ear mite meds a month ago. Bunny usually teeth clacks when she is lounging so I…[Read more]

Hey! Thanks for the reply!
Oh, I searched and people said red clover is okay for buns.
The smartweed or whatever that is, it seems not a lot of people feed it, i’m just worried it might have an effect on them later on, but they seem to be okay. Except one of them stop eating hay and pellets, he’s not eating much at all, so i’m a bit worried if…[Read more]

If you’re treating with diatomaceous earth, then you will probably want to use a HEPA filter on the vacuum. Otherwise, I don’t think it matters. Just make sure to dispose of the bag once you’re done.

So sorry I haven’t updated! So she did end up cutting herself slightly which was causing her discomfort when she went to the bathroom. She was in a bit of pain, but she is recovering very well. She is now eating and drinking on her own and going to the bathroom regularly. Her poop is way more average sized and she’s on her way to getting her hap…[Read more]

Agreed — that looks like normal, healthy territorial poop, which is fine! One of my rabbits pretty much exclusively poops territorial poops since I have two unbonded rabbits living separately, but in proximity.

Looks like red clover to me.
I’m not sure what the “spray” is. It almost looks like smartweed, but not sure.

Yes, it can definitely vary from individual to individual. Assuming the bunny shows symptoms at all (most are asymptomatic), the symptoms can slowly appear and be relatively mild or they can have a rapid onset and be severe (seizures, paralysis).

That’s why you don’t let bunny in the room while treating. You sprinkle it on the carpets, let it sit, and then vacuum it up. It’s perfectly safe once vacuumed.
I would not worry about the wooden hay feeder. If you really wanted to, you could spray it with vinegar solution and then wipe it off. But I don’t think it will be necessary if you treat…[Read more]

Ugh, that sounds awful!! I am so sorry, sucky landlords well suck. I am glad it sounds like you are soon going to have your own place and all be re-united. Hope that happens soon.
I also thought anything that was against rental laws was automatically invalid even if you do sign the lease, but there is so much that is by area so that makes it a mess.
