You’re right, I guess it’s more that I wish I knew exactly what they needed to help them work through things faster. They are like different rabbits now in the downstairs room. They were so happy upstairs but I guess that was also part of the problem. The 95% of the time they weren’t worrying me though they seemed like they were getting closer……[Read more]

Hello all, I need some advice… Max is 15.5 lbs, mixed breed. His principal litter box, located in his stay pen, is an extra large hooded box (it’s a cat litter box). I purchased it before we adopted him. I think I should’ve gone with the large one but I wasn’t sure how big he would get. Anyways, I fill half up with bedding and the other half with…[Read more]

I’ve seen some recipes floating around that use oat flour and canned pumpkin. Maybe you could mix them into a recipe like that?

Rabbits rarely like being picked up so him running doesn’t mean he isn’t trusting of you it’s just his instincts kicking in! As for him not staying in your lap, I noticed my bun does it too! Personally I think that (depending on how you’re sitting) your lap isn’t a very stable place or your bunny feels like the are going to fall. I think that him…[Read more]

Fingers very crossed! Hopefully the itching is just due to dry winter air.

I dont know if a pregnancy shortens a bun’s life time. There’s no real reason why it should, except for the instances when the bun doesn’t survive giving birth.
Vets can as a rule perform an emergency spay in a very recently impregnated girl rabbit.
On our resources pages have some info on what to do if your bun gets pregnant and you’re faced…[Read more]
