I have not had anyone call me a rabbit lady yet but when I meet new people be it friend or work colleagues they will often have seen a photo of my rabbits within the first day lol

That’s what happened with my bun’s toenail. It broke off and grew back crooked, but then eventually grew out and went back to normal, so that was a relief! ♡

I doubt he’ll get an infection. They rarely do. Some buns have brittle nails that break easily, but most (if not all) buns that lead an active life will break a nail at one time or another. I had a dog rip a nail completely out and I have done the same after slamming my toe into something.  Wow, the pain is unreal…took me 20 minutes to walk 20 feet!

I agree with Wick&Fable, they should both be neutered for a stable bond to form. It’s also possible that they are just hitting puberty at slightly different rates, so Haldir might have some behavior changes as well if you don’t neuter him. His friendly behaviors will not go away with neutering.

That makes sense! He is still running, binkying, hopping on/off of my bed and standing up on his hind legs to take treats from me. I tried to examine it but anytime I touched the toe or the nail, he just thumped at me, so I left him alone. I’ll keep an eye on him, but he doesn’t seem to bothered!
