I have never experienced this, but it doesn’t seem unlikely. Rabbits have a very acute sense of smell. A classic way of deterring roe deer and wild rabbits from your flowerbeds is to sprinkle blood meal around the plants. I’ve never used that method myself though, so I don’t know if it works.

I’d say the requirements differ from vet to vet when it comes to boys. Some won’t neuter anybunny under 6 months. For a girl, most vets want the bun to be at least 6 months, because before that the structures they’re removing are so tiny they can be difficult to find without poking around too much.

One of my bunnies won’t let you touch him, he runs for treats and jumps on us and all, it’s just the way he is. My other bunny only lets things on her terms and will lunge and nip if she doesn’t want to be pet, and forget about being picked up. My bunnies aren’t afraid of me, it’s just the way they are. I agree with Glenn, most buns do fine without anything, especially boy buns. A neuter of a young healthy boy is a minimally invasive and quick procedure.

3 months seems pretty young to me but I think it actually depends on size, there is a minimum weight which I can’t remember now but my bun was not neutered till about 7 months old because he simply did not weigh enough.

Rabbits as a rule hate any kind of floor that they can’t get a “grip” on. This can be used to your advantage if there are places you don’t want him to go, but it can’t be relied on 100%.

TBH, some oval poops here and there are not the biggest concern. I think it will be fine. Just keep up with the brushing.
