The vet said he’s probably around 7 months old, and also found the scars from the neutering; and I’ve never seen his bunny balls. I adopted him from a shelter (who also said he was neutered). However, I have no clue when he was neutered. He was abandoned at the shelter without any information.

Yep, just make sure the puzzle can be opened with maneuvers that a bunny can physically do. I had a dog puzzle toy that had a drawer that could be pulled out, a flap that could be nosed upward to open, etc.

It’s always too soon. I miss him. It’s always odd once they pass just how much of an impact they had on your day to day life. Even something as small as a hedgehog.

Tater is really active. But since bonding with Spud and finding out he can steal Spuds pellets he’s packed on a few pounds.

It doesn’t make it easier, unfortunately. But I’m glad I got 6 years with him when the average hedgie lives to 3-4. He was a cranky little dude but I loved it.

I personally don’t know much about soft cut hay or Haybox, but my only thought would be is that if it’s a very soft hay that it might not be particularly abrasive for their teeth which they need to keep them well worn. But again, I’m not too familiar with soft cut hays as we don’t really have any here.

Luna has one of these. When I adopted her almost six years ago she had it and it stayed the same size for a long time. Eventually early last year when she did present with E. cuniculi the spot had grown quite substantially in size. I found the Teach N Treat to be too easy. I have had better luck with ones designed for dogs.

From what I can see, I will agree with Wick on this one. It looks like an “atypical” partial heterochromia, where there is just a little section of blue and the rest of the iris is brown.
