It’s hard to say what actually happened. I can’t see the photo in your avatar very well. Assuming that he is a Cinnamon, then it’s possible he is an escaped meat rabbit.

Hi! I’m trying to piece together my newly adopted bunny’s backstory via his physical quirks/injuries (floppy ear, missing tail, and slight limp?)
I’m new to all of this (the forum and having a house bunny) and was wondering if anyone had ideas. I’ve read books and looked online, but I haven’t been able to find information about these specific…[Read more]

What caused the head tilt and how was she treated? I’m curious because incontinence is a symptom of EC.

Hello, my rabbit Hazel was litter trained, she’s around 6 yrs old. September she experienced head tilt and has some permanent damage but no more tilting. I’ve been trying since then to get her back into potty training, but it’s not working. I did find that using two boxes next to each other will limit the mess, but eventually she will pee on the…[Read more]

I am looking for some advice on bonding. We got a girl bun (first time bunny parents) about 2 months ago and she quickly became free roam. About 3 weeks later we brought a boy home. We were lead to believe that bunnies bond very easily and I hate to say we didnt do the proper research. Both bunnies were not fixed but we did pit them together a few…[Read more]

I swear: if I hear “hum” one more time today, I’m going to have a breakdown and eat my socks…
We’ve done a long session today, with some break time in the middle so we could have dinner. They’ve been together from 15:30 to 18:15 and together again from 19:30 to 23:15. It was intense.
In the afternoon things were pretty calm, with Owen mostly…[Read more]

This year is going terribly. I had to say goodbye to my oldest dog Pig on 5/19 due to complications from Cushing’s disease. I’d like 2022 to be over now thanks.

LBJ10 replied to the topic Jif Peanut Butter Recall and Salmonella? in the forum HOUSE RABBIT Q & A 4 years, 2 months ago
I think it would be unlikely. Get rid of the peanut butter and remember to wash your hands before interacting with your rabbit.

It could be a meibomian cyst. You can try a warm compress to see if it will go down on its own.

This is clover and she is 4 months old. Over the past week she has had this bump show up on her water line. I’m not sure what it is and I am a first time bun mom. She has acted completely fine and as normal. Does anyone know what this is as I am a very concerned? -

I remember my bunny Milo having similar symptoms… sometimes it would look as if he was a little clumsy or dragging his leg/off balance like. Is Bun Jovi having any sort of nystagmus in his eyes? Urinary incontinence from what I remember can be a symptom of E. Cuniculi and this happened with Milo as well, I knew something was off when one day…[Read more]

Cassie119300 replied to the topic Still trying to figure out what caused Milo's death in the forum HOUSE RABBIT Q & A 4 years, 2 months ago
Update :
Sadly Milo’s case that was presented in front of the office of professional discipline for veterinarians was unfounded, it was only founded the vet acted within the reasonable standard of care and that he was considered a senior rabbit at 6.5 years old. I’m not even sure all facts I submitted were considered unfortunately, the decision…[Read more]
