Hi everyone! I just realized that I’ve been using a jar of Jif peanut butter that was a part of the batch that was recalled in the US for potential salmonella contamination. I have been having some gastrointestinal upset- but no vomiting or fever and I feel fine. If I did end up having salmonella, would my bunny be at risk at all? Is it common for rabbits to get sick from salmonella? I’m just wondering if I should be worried or not, thanks in advance!

I think it would be unlikely. Get rid of the peanut butter and remember to wash your hands before interacting with your rabbit.
