United allows pets in a carrier that fits under the seat within the continental US. I don’t know about international flights.

For the past few days this has been Thumper’s face. He woke up one afternoon and I noticed his face was like this; he’s still eating, drinking, pooping and acting normal so my mom thinks it’s just hay mixed with watermelon juice. How can I clean his face safely to see if she’s right?

Hi! I checked up on my bunny today and noticed this bumpy mark on his left ear. It looks like a bug bite. I’m not sure if I should leave it alone or bring him to the vet?? He’s isnt acting abnormal, in fact, he’s very much his normal self. Pooping and eating and has done binkies all throughout today. (repost because I forgot to attach pictures)

We got her at the end of June, so she’s been with us for 3 weeks total. She was unspayed, we were very precautious and descented and cleaned out the room she would be in. As we have two other male rabbits. She was very social and wanted attention whenever we visited her, before and after her spay.

Thank you for the update! He was already neutered? Wow, that’s surprising since you found him outside. People who take to time and expense to neuter their bunny generally don’t “set them free” or dump them outside. I wonder what could have happened that he ended up as a stray. I did bring this up to my vet when I was getting my second bunny spayed, they totally dismissed it and said some bunnies are just really stubborn with litter training.

Update-he went to the vet!

The vet said his ears are genetic-he’s a helicopter! I asked about the little cartilage bump on the floppy ear and he said it’s unrelated nothing to worry about.

Yes, I think it would be a good idea to rule out a dental issue. They can present differently sometimes.

Another thought… has he ever seemed uncomfortable after eating veggies? Some bunnies have tummy trouble from veggies. If he felt ill (i.e. gassy) after eating some, he may think he needs to avoid them.

I agree with Dana. Catch the bunny for the purpose of getting it vaccinated. If you dad doesn’t want to do the minimum requirements for keeping the bunny safe from predators and other bad things, then I would take it to a shelter. If…[Read more]
