Bunnies are weird. Sometimes just a new batch of hay if “off” and they don’t want it. You could try mixing things up a bit with orchard or oat hay.

We’re all rooting for little Buster here. Buster is a lucky little guy, he found owners that clearly are doing all they can for him.

Overgrowth of bad bacteria could cause this, and its treatable with the appropriate antibiotics. It’s not very rare in baby buns, but it often manifests as watery/mucosy stools. I have 2 males and they do the same thing. I made hideous for them out of Boxes I put their uneaten hay from their hay tray into the boxes and they love it! They sleep on it and eat it.

I was told to sprinkle dried herbs on their hay I have not done that yet.

Microfiber is quite a bit more effective than terry cloth or other towels. I used the type of towels they sell for dogs, they’re really great and not expensive.

All buns have their own personalities, so yes, every method must be adapted to the individual you’re dealing with.

I think it was good that you gave her motility drugs as prescribed. They’re not “strong” drugs, and megacolon buns might need them regularly.

He loves to play but not with any kinda toy. I gave him a cardboard box and he ignored that. I’ve got a lot of work done today more than expected and I think if I carry on persevering tomorrow I can get the yard done so he could be out running about tomorrow.
