Having it removed sounds like a good idea. That also allows a closer examination of it to further understanding of what went on.

Hmmm, I wonder if you could try some clicker training with her as a way to bond and interact that doesn’t involve petting? You would prob need to separate briefly from her partner (as simple as just keeping one in the pen and letting the other one out). If she takes treats from your hand then she would probably enjoy it 🙂

Maybe you could find a current rabbit veterinary guide on Amazon and casually leave it in their office.

Then they will be up to date.

I once went to “the best” bird vet, only to have him come back in the room with a book that looked like it was published in the ’70s.  I found a new vet.

Thank you, I will try that and see if that works a bit better, it’s been confusing because it looks like it goes in and I’ve read something about there being two layers of skin? so maybe im just getting the needle under the surface or something weird hence why it all comes back out. She is very furry by the way so that would probably make it tons easier.

How long have you had them? Most buns don’t like to be held, and some are less interested in pets. It generally works well to play “hard to get” with shy bunnies, meaning spend a lot of time with her but don’t force any interactions.

It does sound like best thing to have it removed. Its great that it can be moved around.
