Hello, I’ve bought the same treats for my Lionhead bunnies in the past. They where definitely into them and I like that they are organic. I think the ingredients are better than the treats you would typically find in most pet supply stores. The only concerning ingredients in there would be the cane molasses and the canola/sunflower oil as they a…[Read more]

Hello all,
i am very sad as I am writing this… My favourite little pet Luna has passed yesterday. She was truly the cutest little thing I’ve ever seen and loved her very dearly. I went to a vet claiming they specialize in exotic animals and spent 500$ for X-rays and treatment. I give my rabbits a treat everyday right after work and Luna did not…[Read more]

Binky free, sweet Bogyo 💔
Your tribute to her is beautiful. Rabbits deserve memorials. They are important. So much personality and love in such tiny little bodies.

Hi there! Are the Oxbow treats (Heart-shaped) healthy for bunnies. My one bunny is a male Lion Head and it seems that there’s too much richness in his diet. Both of them have unlimited hay all the time. They have their allowed amounts of pellets per day too.
is there something I can do to have my LionHead eat more hay?? He’s had some fair amo…[Read more] -

I never posted here before, although I often read the forum when there was something with my Bogyó bunny.
I just wanted to write a bit about her so that her memory can live on forever in bunny loving people who read about her here. -

Gus is acting up because his territory has been invaded. This is normal. Rabbits are highly territorial. Are your buns (or any of them) spayed/neutered? Are none of the buns bonded?
Statistically, a bond between a (neutered) male and a (spayed) female is the most- likely-to-be-stable-bond.
You are sadly right in that red eyed buns are more…[Read more]

Hey all,
Backstory: I raised Gus from a baby, he is three and has been a solo bun most of his life. We had a failed bonding attempt with a “try it out, if it doesn’t work, bring her back” bunny shelter when he was two. A few months ago, I impulse brought two female rabbits home. Since then, Gus has been acting out and doing things he hasn’t done…[Read more]

Dear Bogyó,
It has been a bit more than 6 weeks since You left this world and it has been the worst time of my life, I can’t feel the ground under my feet, I am lost without You.
I am very thankful for the 7.5 years You spent with me, and all the joy and the life lessons You gave me are things I will always carry with me.
You were the light in…[Read more] -

Some bunnies are just prone to having gas episodes. Oftentimes, there is no apparent cause. You could try eliminating things from his diet to see if perhaps he is reactive to, say, his pellets or certain veggies.

I have a 3 year old little lionhead boy and he will randomly just lose his appetite and become lethargic. Since I’ve had him as a baby, this has happened about 7 times maybe. When this happens I massage his tummy and syringe feed him for around 2 hours and he always ends up feeling better and acting normal afterward, but I just want to try to p…[Read more]

I got my rab a little over 3 years ago and he’s always had trouble with pooping in the litter box, but just recently, he started peeing outside too. This is a newer problem that I’ve never really had before (he’s peed on the carpet once or twice in the past, but never this frequently). When I first got him, I consulted my vet on getting him…[Read more]
