I know this is a dumb question, but you can thaw out frozen veggies and give to rabbits right? Will they still eat them after they have been frozen?

Deleted User started the topic Vinegar? in the forum HOUSE RABBIT Q & A 14 years, 2 months ago
My odd little bunny decided to drink some of the white vinegar/water solution that I use to clean her cage with.
Is there a need to do to flush it out of her system? Like adding more water to her veggies? Or is it okay that she decided to drink some? I’ll have to make sure to keep the vinegar out of her reach next time I clean her…[Read more] -
Frapptastic started the topic bunny beds? in the forum HABITATS AND TOYS 14 years, 4 months ago
I ordered a bunny condo for Frappe and just got it set up this week. It is much larger and nicer than the pet store cage he had before. It has 2 levels and the top level is carpeted. My question is-does he need some type of bed? In his old cage he had Aspen wood chips and he snuggled down in those behind his hidey house. I guess a soft blanket or…[Read more]

Nova started the topic Bun in GI Stasis not responding to meds in the forum DIET & CARE 14 years, 4 months ago
Boon has had intermitten GI motility slowdown issues so the vet gave us Cisapride and Reglan on hand for this every once in a while. He usually responded very well to Cisapride and not so well to Reglan. Yesterday he was under a lot of stress when we were clipping his toenails, he absolutely reaked out.
A few hours later, he passed large…[Read more] -

I have a 6 w/o bunny that I have been bottle feeding since day 3. His mom was taking care of three of her babies but not the other three. The two other babies died at days 5 and 7. This bunny had several very close calls but seems to be doing well now. I have been feeding him KMR mixed with heavy cream and acidophilus (intended for cats and…[Read more]

Hi there, I had a dwarf lop a few years ago, she was only 3 when she developed lung cancer and passed away. I am terrified female rabbits are more likely to pass at an earlier age compared to males, as I have recently adopted a beautiful mini lop bunny and she is beautiful. I love her and she has fit straight into our family wonderfully. I…[Read more]

Hi everyone!
We’ve been planning on getting Chocolate a friend for a long time now–and we’ve finally done it! Last week we went up to a rabbit rescue in Durham, NC to let Chocky pick out a girl. We ended up with a sweet Jersey Wooly about 2-3 yrs old. She is VERY spunky and active…much more so than we are used to! We’ve named her…[Read more] -

My mom was watching Good Morning America, and she told me about one of their “pet deals” of the day: http://store.humanesociety.org/prod…ccessories (The coupon code is GMA)
I’m ordering one, since my two aren’t chewers, and they love laying on cold things- I think this will be easier on Logan’s leg, since he’s supposed to have something soft…[Read more] -

I was wondering if anyone knew how to train their bun to like their harness? So far, Napple doesn’t like his much, and tries constantly to nibble on it and get it off. When I first got my two buns, they wouldn’t eat anything so I thought they would starve. Now, I’m afraid they might get too fat if not already; I heard some buns can get fat on veges.
