Tip: The key is short strokes in one direction. Then you can go over the area again in a different direction. Same does for vacuuming using a shopvac and brush attachment. Short strokes in one direction.

Treat-wise, my bunny will not touch timothy hay cubes. He turns his nose up at them, but he never seemed to care for timothy hay in general (he likes orchard the best). If I give him an alfalfa/oat hay cube though, he will go bonkers.

I agree that there is definitely something medically wrong. The things you are describing are not normal. It sounds like either something going on with the kidneys (EC) or a dental problem. You didn’t really mention much about his poop, but bunnygal made a good suggestion too based on the markings of the bunny in your photo.

I agree. Either the Baytril is working, but not enough time is being given. Or you need to try a different antibiotic.

It is very possible every previous course of Baytril has been too short. 2 weeks is what I consider the absolute minimum course for URI antibiotics, so considering he has never had it consecutively longer than that, I would suspect it has always been cut short before the entire infection was wiped out, so it simply takes some time to re-multiply…[Read more]

then highly likely it’s megacolon. One of mine has that also has trouble keeping weight on. It’s a genetic thing with that breed – the “Charlie’s” with the mistake or Rex with the black around the eyes.

The loops are good, the sticks are even higher in fiber. Buns seem to like them a lot (mine do). Bit pricey though if they’re not given as treats only.

Ugh, he refuses timothy cubes. I even tried “withholding” a little but he’d rather starve than touch cube or straight hay. Everyday I even dump his hay over to his friends to give him fresh ones but nope…

I have Loops coming in; someone told me a medical bun lived solely on Loops for a few months.
