Based off your reply, my hunch is that it could still her hormones draining a bit, or the bum over the side thing. Females can have a post-spay craze, and it can take up to 6 weeks for the hormones to fully drain.

I’m no expert, but male rabbits can be neutered pretty early. My rabbit just turned 6mo and was neutered months ago at the shelter before we adopted him. Here I am replying again! My vet decides more based off of weight than age, but males are typically neutered a lot sooner than females because the procedure is much less invasive. I don’t think I’ve heard the recommendations a minimum of 6 months for rabbits… that seems long to me, but some bunnies do take a long time for their testes to drop…[Read more]

I did move his pen to the other side of the yard so he can’t eat anymore 🙂 He’s acting normal still so I think he’ll be fine

When I got my bun he was reluctant to leave his pen, but now he is one little troublemaker. Every day he learns something new 😀

Oh, what a poor baby! He looks like he was in a really bad situation. He is so lucky that you rescued him. All he needs is a little love and care! I bet with some love and lots of yummy food, he will be super great in no time.

Hi! Their litter boxes are actually cat litter boxes so the are big enough for them to both sit in. However, I will try and watch her to see if she is hanging her butt outside of the litterbox and then peeing. I didn’t even think of that so I didn’t pay attention to it.

jerseygirl – Nope! I think he’s just been so malnourished and exposed to the elements that his coat hasn’t been growing in properly. He’s really enjoying the safety of his quarantine room, plus the soft jazz music I have playing for him 😄
