    Hi xbunnyx

I edited your post to add photos. We try to avoid posting links to other shopping sites.

What region if the world are you in? There might be some extra considerations to take on when building outdoor habitats, depending on where you live. Ie, type of wild predators and viral risks.

    I find these 2 resources…[Read more]

    Hi there,

Unfortunately, I own two dogs with a high prey drive and will do anything to get to Rex (my rabbit), so I have to keep him outside no matter what… ๐Ÿ™

Right now he’s in a dog crate I got from Amazon as he is a ‘rescue’, and here is the link to the cage:

@talesifTybalt, nice job with the house! Itโ€™s obviously liked. ๐Ÿ™‚

Tybalt might be one to use his mate as a pillow. One of my past rabbits, Rumball, was big on this.

Thank you so much! & No we donโ€™t even have a yard! I did recently get some green leaf lettuce from Bristol Farms. I always wash before I feed, though this was my fist time buying from Bristol Farms. Could the lettuce have been contaminated?

    Hey all!ย  ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m wondering if more experienced bunny parents have any advice on how to take the best care of an elderbun.

Our Teddy (whom some of you know of) is 11, and has been a total sweetie ever since we adopted him at 3 months old, in 2009.ย  From that time until the fall of 2018 he was with his BFF, Athena (on the left in the photo), u…[Read more]

Here’s an article on Medirabbit: http://www.medirabbit.com/EN/GI_diseases/Parasitic_diseases/Pass/Pass_en.htm

Finding worms in bunny poop can be very alarming. The good news is these types of infections are usually not serious. They only become serious if there is such a large abundance that the worms actually block the intestines. The worms…[Read more]

My baby boy Louie is 5 months old and he had worms in his poo yesterday 7/6 ๐Ÿ™ My vet appointment is tomorrow 7/8 but I need to know if this has happened to anyone elseโ€™s bun and if theyโ€™re okay now!

His right eye is watering today 7/7 a lot. ๐Ÿ™

Please please let me know if you know what these worms are and where they came from.

Thank you so much, Kate!! You are so generous!ย  Nothing was different except the color, and I can’t be sure it made a difference to him since he didn’t start drinking out of it immediately.ย  But whatever the reason, I’ll take it!ย  ๐Ÿ™‚

I would be looking for a new vet. $800 is absurd, and it’s also so odd that a vet would discourage neuters. The are technically right in that neutering isn’t a health necessity for males, but I would not call the risks and stress of the procedure “severe”.ย It sounds as though they aren’t that comfortable with them. So yes, see if you can find a…[Read more]

I was curious and just searched and found this which you may find useful: https://rabbit.org/faq-spaying-and-neutering/. They give average cost about $250, though regional variation makes sense. ( I live in high cost west coast city if that helps, though access to a spay/neuter clinic makes things cheaper) .

And on a separate note… Beau is such…[Read more]
