So many cute July buns! Tybalt and Jersey, I love when buns use pillows to sleep, and those pictures definitely make me want to get another bun 🙂 Thor’s a real drama queen though, not sure if she will ever take to a bond…

Definitely don’t worry! You are doing everything you can and now it’s just up to Dixie as to when she is comfortable with you. Wilbur was like Dixie and didn’t really approach me for awhile, but now he won’t leave me alone! As she is with you longer your connection will get stronger. Don’t worry! Usually red pee means they have too much protein in their and it is very common. In my opinion the line would be more to the worrying side. But I would just call the vet and ask if this is normal and see what they say. I’m trying to envision what you’re describing. Was it a steady gradient of color? Or were there blobs/streaks of dark red inside mostly lighter colored urine?

How long was the pee there? Long enough to evaporate? I’m wondering if the color wasn’t just concentrated because the pee was in the process of drying up.

You should call the vet. If its black like ink and the red looks like blood there could be something seriously wrong.
