I’m very sorry you are in this stressful situation.
As for hay, there are some types of hay pellets which you may be able to find online, depending on which country you are in. Compressed hay cubes might be another alternative. Are you allergic to all grass hay? I find that I myself is mostly allergic to timothy hay. Orchard is much better for…[Read more]

Hey, before you say ‘you should have thought about this before you got a rabbit’, please be aware i never went out to get a rabbit 🙁 i found my rabbit on the street in my neighborhood. she was going to get killed out there and the owners didn’t want her. i have had her 2 years. i love her greatly. i have got her spayed and i always took great…[Read more]

Vet appointment was today, they did blood/urine test to see if she has kidney disease ☹️. Apparently she’s lost weight since the last visit and her peeing and not eating her cecotropes were abit of a worry. Her legs gone worst too.
when I first got her she was very boney so I’m quite surprised they said she’s lost even more weight. I hope…[Read more]

DanaNM replied to the topic Should I bond? in the forum BONDING 6 years, 1 month ago
I think that sounds like a good plan. Two sessions per day is fine, so long as the bunnies are not overly stressed (keep an eye on eating, pooping, etc.). Doing sessions only 3 or 4 days a week is also fine. Might take a bit longer to fully bond than daily sessions, but you should still make progress.
I think the most important things to remember…[Read more]

I would…or use NIC cubes to make a pen or small condo. The cost is prob about the same, but the cube grids can be configured however you want. Having an extra x-pen is super helpful for bonding to divide up the free-roam area as well, if you plan on letting them exercise at the same time.
You also might be able to find a used dog crate for…[Read more]

English angoras! I love it when they have their hair cut. It’s just sad though because their fur is so unnatural. Someone must maintain it, otherwise it would become very matted.

Hard plastic is generally considered safe. Bunnies might chew on it, but there are normally just indentations made in the plastic. They can’t easily chew pieces off. Still… I would recommend supervising them when playing with baby keys or stacking cups. Just to be safe. 😉

Hi guys.. I have started applying for some speed dates, and now I’m stuck with what to do. I was originally going to allow Louie to free roam and have new bunny stay in the xpen then switch for exercise, but now Louie has started the lovely habit of bed-peeing. 🙄 There’s the tiniest chance she could live in my en-suite bathroom, but it’s not…[Read more]

Good luck! He sounds darling! My mother and I actually put in an application at a shelter for some speed dates after a bunch of female rabbits there recover from their spays!

So I may have did a thing…
I put in an application to adopt a baby bun that Joey has taken up with when she goes with me to the rescue.
It’s not 100% yet since someone else has also put in an application. But had to throw my hat in the ring since it is rare that Joey really really likes another rabbit. And since life is straightening out for…[Read more]

kendall replied to the topic Should I bond? in the forum BONDING 6 years, 1 month ago
once school starts, I would be able to bond Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I might be able to do sessions occasionally on the other days of the week, but not very consistently. I don’t know if this would be enough which is why I was thinking I would have to wait until next summer to actually have a cemented bond.
Right now my plan is to…[Read more]

maybe multiple litter boxes or when your cat’s poos/wees put it in the cat’s litter box I know disgusting but might work or try a spray bottle
maybe your cat doesn’t like the litter in her litter box

I agree with @Louiethebunny and @AsrielandBombur it’s just the baby going away and the adult fur coming through

yes stacking cups are a good idea since rabbits love to toss them around and you can put pellets in between them and you can all buy hard plastic baby keys
