She’s actually doing a lot better! Yesterday and today she finally started eating about 2 cups worth of the 3 types of veggies I was slowly introducing ( parsley,Β cabbage, and celery). Before she would nibble them and leave it, but she seems to trust me more now lol. As soon as I put the food dish in she starts eating!
She really likes…[Read more]

Agree with Dana. Neutering at his age shouldn’t be an issue. πΒ If the vet told you that he’s too old, find a new vet.

Gotcha! Other than that what you have been doing sounds good. I think the fact that she calms down after a minute is a good sign.

DanaNM, oh yes of course. the only times I go in her pen are to clean up her droppings and to get her litter box or fill up her other bowls. I try to keep that has “her” space as much as I can. I will let her out of her cage for most of the day and try to pet her outside of it. I just called our vet today and the woman I was talking to said “a few…[Read more]

Testicular cancer is pretty rare, but if you want a surefire way of preventing it, neutering is the only way. π 4 years is not too old to be neutered at all. So if you are concerned, that would be the solution.

Hi! So my 4-year-old rabbit is and unneutered male, I know, please don’t get mad at me. When I got him, I honestly didn’t know that much about rabbits, and by the time I had learned that neutering male rabbits was probably a good thing to do, he was older, and I didn’t want to run the risk of getting him neutered then, because I know that once…[Read more]

I usually take her to the vet. It is $5 here thankfully. But everything is closed except emergencies so I had to do it myself. She hates it I hate it so it is just a big mess all around.

I give about a tablespoon twice a day, once in the morning and once at night, and I use pellets for training and for a treat because Louie likes them so much. I was feeding him more before, but he stopped consuming a good amount of hay, so I reduced them. I give a small handful of greens each meal, and refill his water about once a day, he usually…[Read more]

Dear Bladesmith, it’s lovely to see you here but I’m very sorry Dawn is having health problems. Do try to film her to show to the vet.
Ec is, as you probably know, one thing that can cause seizures, but you as a rule dont see ec seizures without other symptoms that profoundly affects the rabbit. With epilepsy, as you also know, the affected party…[Read more]
