I definitely see some sprinkles of Netherland Dwarf in there. The eye shape/size and nose flatness are very Netherland Dwarf-like.

A rabbit’s digestive system is very delicate, if something goes wrong they can get GI stasis which can be fatal. I think every rabbit owner has dealt with tummy upsets, refusal to eat and the such. Young rabbits should get “unlimited” pellets while they’re growing. It’s okay to leave their food bowl empty for a couple of hours each day though, to make sure they eat plenty of hay as well. 🙂

I’m still waiting for a vet callback about the medicine interactions, but meanwhile some great news: the full panel of bloodwork came back normal!! 😀  Plus Teddy’s been eating much much better since last night.  We’re so grateful!!

I agree, don’t worry too much about what the owner said. There could be a million reasons why he’s acting the way he is, and if it’s caused by the way the owner is handling him, he likely won’t admit to that.

when I search “rabbit stroke” I Only find info on EC and heatstroke so it’s hard to get information.

i hope the vet will know something. I’m scared she won’t know how to hold him even

UPDATE: after a little over 2 weeks, he has progressed to exploring daily, binkying and doing zoomies, lying around on the rug, and accepting pets when relaxing 😊
