I think you should call your vet when they open (on Monday, hopefully), because wheezing can signify serious illness that needs antibiotics.  You can test the urine for blood by dripping some hydrogen peroxide on it. Phew it looks like they are friends again! Not technically snuggles, but that elephant and him have been best buds since a little after I brought him home so I am glad they made up! (& sorry bit blurry)

I think he’ll do excellently on adult pellets and grass hay. He may just need a slightly bigger portion size than what’s recommended for an adult bun of the same size . He should ideally get his pellets’ bowl refilled soon after he has finished it. That way he can eat as much as he needs for healthy growth.

It has never happened with any of my buns. I doubt it happens a lot. Rabbits always breathe through their noses, so their noses are kept more moist than ours. When our noses get so dry inside that the skin cracks, it’s mostly because we’ve had a stuffed nose and have been breathing through the mouth.
