I’m so sorry. 😥
The vet should have noticed it the first time around. 🙁

It sounds like you need to properly bond them if you would like them all to live together peacefully. This means supervised “dates” in neutral territory so they can all properly establish their dominance hierarchy. Babies do not form true bonds, but are tolerated by adults usually. Now that the babies are grown ups, they are seen as intruding…[Read more]

It’s possible that a stable hierarchy wasn’t yet established and things aren’t really showing up until now. The relationship rabbits have prior to spaying/neutering sometimes needs work after the spaying/neutering, since the mindset of a rabbit before and after the procedure is so different.
If there is bullying, that is concerning.I do not…[Read more]

They are pretty easy to find online, so ordering them might be easiest!

Hello!
I have a trio of bunnies, consisting of mama bun and her twins (Dobby and Jigglypuff). The twins are 11 months and mama (Nana) is a few months older. They girls have only been seperated short amounts of times for spaying, and Dobby a little longer until he was old enough to be castrated so he could join the girls again. Nana has always…[Read more]

Thank you for your replies! It really calmed me down to hear that. I’ve been opening the larger ones up pretty actively and they do tend to have fur in them. He gets brushed several times a week but just never seems to stop shedding. Again, thank you so much!

And last but not least, here’s Smokey posing very nicely… 😆

DanaNM: It’s hot here too, 105! 😮 Is that Bun Jovi? He looks very content next to the frozen water bottle. 😉 Give him lots of pets for me!

It’s also just temporary, so when I have the NIC grids and can cover the wires, I’ll be able to have them out like all day (when I’m home). And I’m planning on going shopping this week. Just hard because of covid. 😣

@DanaNM Okay, I’ve been trying to find NIC grids in my area but I’ll have to drive 20 mins to get to a bigger store soon. And I know about the time, it’s just hard to watch them for so long since I need to get the NIC grids and they have to be out separately, watching them and pulling them away from each other’s pens for 8 hours is difficult. )):

Date 2: same as first, Bonnie + Myra, bathtub, 10 minutes.
Pretty much the same thing as date 1. Bonnie immediately humped Myra, and did on and off for about 2 minutes. Myra just froze the whole time. The Bonnie thumped a few times.
Then Bonnie kind of approached Myra from the side towards her face (ears forward), and I just petted them both on…[Read more]

DanaNM replied to the topic Safe waterproof floor covering for carpet? in the forum HABITATS AND TOYS 6 years ago
Popular methods are a piece of plywood with vinyl tiles or linoleum stuck to it, or just a big piece of scrap linoleum. You could cut it to fit your space exactly. I’ve also used those office floor protectors that are meant to go under a desk chair. They are pretty hard plastic so resist chewing, but might be harder to customize.
A lot of people…[Read more]

Yes I know! I’m so excited! We’re doing our interview and home check on Wednesday! I hope we pass lol. There will definitely be plenty of pictures!
I don’t know if the fabric thing would work for me because I think it might get flipped up without a pen to hold it down. I’m not sure if I can find an outdoor rug the right size. H…[Read more]

OK, now I see it. I don’t think the twitching is unusual. I think it’s an involuntary reaction to stimulus, which can include eating something tasty.

It was in the 90s yesterday… tomorrow it will be maybe 50. Yeah, not happy right now. I’m just not ready to bust out the fall clothing. And winter? Forget about it. I was so over winter several winters ago. LOL
