And, since she is eating shredded veggies, will she eat fresh grass? Like wheat grass, you can buy it at the pet store as “cat grass” or grow it yourself.

I agree with Prince Dorian. You can work on getting a bunny to tolerate being picked up by starting small and giving a reward. But you can’t teach them to be cuddly and most bunnies will not be tolerate being held for long, even if you do work with them on it. How is she doing now? Bloat is a very serious condition and a true medical emergency. It also tends to progress very rapidly and cause extreme pain. My understanding is that the whole abdomen can become distended and hard. Has she eaten at all since her symptoms started? Has she shown other signs of pain, such as grinding her teeth?

For pre care: He should eat right uptil you drop him off at the vet. No fasting for rabbits! It good if you pack him a little “lunch bag” with stuff he likes for when he wakes up post surgery. Fragrant herbs, hay, pellets, small piece of fruit -he can pretty much have anything he likes.

It can be hard to pinpoint the cause of fur loss, but that doesn’t mean it cannot be overcome! I hope the ringworm treatment is successful! In my experience, ringworm tends to “run”, so the bald patch will get bigger, but then some fur might grow in as the patch moves about.
