I got mine from TSC. I think Toronto would have a TSC? I use these:

They work well for odour, the buns like them, and the bag lasts a while.

I’m slowly making the switch from carefresh pet bedding to pine pellets after much research however I’m trying to figure out which brands are safe and effective. If anyone has recommend brands or places to purchase them please let me know! ( I’m located downtown Toronto )

That’s true, it is a good sign!
I’ve been letting her out longer now that we are 3 days out from having her stitches removed and the vet said the incision just looked irritated from her bothering it, and she won’t stop doing binkies and zoomies😆So she’s definitely ok now, and quite happy she doesn’t have to lie around and heal. -

Oh, I am so sorry! 😥
Please don’t feel guilty, anyone would crack under that pressure! You did so much more than any of us here could have done, and I’m sure Polly agrees. 🙂
Dealing with grief is hard, to accept the unacceptable. They were; and still are, our companions, something we will always treasure, I’m sure they view us in the same…[Read more]

My poor bunny Polly Oliver died last week, and I’m still having a hard time processing it. I’m feeling so much guilt. She was only three and a half years old, and she had just had a yearly physical plus a full bloodwork panel (just a baseline that we hoped to have for when she was an old bunny) that made her seem perfectly healthy. I raised he…[Read more]

Thank you! That’s exactly what I thought too.
And it seriously does haha. I browse from time to time but I just couldn’t pass this one up! There was also another girl super sweet girl who was being bred for food purposes 🙁 I really wanted to save her but her conditions were so so filthy, my mother was very against it. It’s been nearly 4 years…[Read more]

I just had my last day at the shelter 😥 😥 😥
I’m really going to miss it! It is a special place. <3
I had a really hard time saying good bye to Copper…. now I’m second guessing and thinking I might just try all four together on the drive… if it doesn’t work I can always bring him back… ? He just seems to have good litter habits…[Read more]

It looks OK to me, but hard to tell from the photo. He just looks a bit scared so it seems like part of his third eye lid is showing, or maybe the whites of his eyes.
He’s very cute, that craigslist browsing will get ya! 😉

I was browsing craigslist and I saw this post for two dwarf rabbits in need of a new home. I’m gonna adopt this bun from an accidental litter. I think he’s adorable but my sister thinks there’s something wrong with his eye? He’s 12 weeks old and I was told he was the runt. What do you guys think? I think he looks fine:)

That is lovely to hear! It is actually a good sign when a rabbit gives us a hard time when we try to medicate or force feed it etc.
(Obviously with the exception of rabbits that have a chronic or longterm problem that needs treatment, those rabbits will eventually become used to being handled).

All is well. No new “events” (I’m afraid to say the word, because it jinxes us), and she’s doing well. I’ve got a new dose headed my way in case it happens again. So far so good! even better my daughter is here, and spending the holiday with “her” bunny.

Yes selective eating can be a main symptom of dental issues.
PM me and I can help you insert the image.

I’d like to insert an image of her teeth but the file seems to be too large :/ I have repeatedly replaced her hay and veggies and still the only thing she wants to eat is her pellets. From the picture I took I think teeth are definitely a culprit in this. My father refuses to accept that they are crooked though…he thinks that’s how they are sup…[Read more]

Also, I don’t really have a way to try out any new vegetables since we don’t go outside for groceries unless it’s the designated day :/ I’m basically limited to only the stuff that’s already here. Unfortunately don’t have critical care atm either…

I figured I would chime in, George nebulized for most of his life. He had chronic URI problems. He was nebulized 2X a day 15-20 min each with saline and acetylcysteine. I too made nebulization chamber for George. George lived until 7, he did not pass away because of the URI. He was happy his entire life. It may just be a chronic problem with…[Read more]
