I have a parrotlet. Pips cage is not in the same room Charlie sleeps in, but it is in a common area of the house. Update: They had one huge spat and now they’re fine! Only a few minor scrapes. CJ has now accepted her subordinate position. ^_^

Lucky for her, Lizzie loves giving grooming so the only thing CJ is missing out on is first dibs of things!

I doubt the matted cheek fur could be made soft enough to brush out. As a rule you have to cut out fur mats on rabbits. You can put a little bit of vaselin on the cheek to act as a barrier and protect the skin from the wetness.

Ok thank you for the information! I am gonna call a new vet tomorrow. Until then, the fur around her eye is super matted and almost a slight sticky texture.
