Hi, I can imagine it must feel really weird to be away for such a long time. We were away for 12 hours in December, and I worried a bit about Breintje. We’re always together and he even sleeps in my bed. We asked a neighbour if he could give Breintje some attention halfway through the day. Breintje was very happy with the pettings, and wasn’t…[Read more]

She will forgive you, and she will continue to love you. You just have to provide extra treats and cuddles for a little while 🥰

By giving you the bunny butt and making you give extra treats and attention! You’ll have to say you’re sorry, probbly multiple times. And you should probably address her as “Your Highness”.
After all, rabbits are royalty, and we humans are mere lowly peasants! 🤣

Yes! I can cut some holes into and attach zip ties to make sure it’s sturdy! I got this piece cut at work today but I’m not too sure if it’s too thin. It’s just the thinness of normal cardboard, nothing thick so I’m not sure. I may have to get another piece.

Wick & Fable replied to the topic why is my rabbit suddenly bacame lazy? in the forum BEHAVIOR 5 years, 5 months ago
So she’s actually fairly young to be getting a variety of vegetables. Right now, she should really only be getting pellets and hay. It’s possible that a lot of veggies might be giving her an upset stomach because she’s not old enough to handle them yet.

Wick & Fable replied to the topic Nothing will stop buns from destroying carpet, pee pads, and blankets. in the forum BEHAVIOR 5 years, 5 months ago
The whole point is for both chewing and digging, as that is what would happen on my carpets, haha. She does chew and dig at it. I believe that she reliably doesn’t eat it, or at least not enough that it has caused problems. You definitely want to see how your rabbit interacts with it. A safe alternative could actually be buying some kraft…[Read more]

That sounds fine. Again, since cardboard can be “slippery” to an extent (depending on the cardboard you use), just keep in mind providing your rabbit with floor with good traction to the rabbit can really move around easily. That might mean zip-tying or finding other ways to attach things so they don’t move.

Praying for poops, fingers crossed! Get well soon Lilly!
Bunnies who are recovering can get a bit of extra nutrients when they get hay tea. It’s what Dutch vets advise.
Here’s my topic on it: https://binkybunny.com/forums/topic/hay-tea-for-anybunny-who-doesnt-drink-enough-especially-for-ill-or-recovering-rabbits/

Hi, Bunnytowne! Just want to say welcome back. Most of us that were on with you and Cotton have kind of retired from the forums. But it’s nice to hear you’re doing well. That’s exciting to find long lost family.
Your cat is lovely.
My bunny now is Spike. He’s very sweet.
I have other duties for binkybunny now, but wanted to stop by to say…[Read more]

That’s great that a business made a decision on their own to do the right thing! My fav pet shop also doesn’t sell live animals. I feel like they tend to carry better products too, because they aren’t so focused on selling an animal and then all the associated start-up “gear” as their business model.

@bunnytowne: Nice, well done!
@DanaNM: That’s so sad 🙁 It really shows who is only in it to make money.
A law has been proposed here in NL that pet shops will have to educate buyers, but I don’t know if that’s been passed yet.
Our favourite pet shop was renovated and they’re not selling live animals anymore. That was a personal decision, but…[Read more]

Oh poor widdle bun bun. So scared. He will soon come to appreciate a warm clean home and good bunny food proper for the wee bunny tummies.
The other bun seems to have taken to his new home and the dog. Thats great.
