I adopted my rabbit about 3 months ago and for the first two and a half months she was really active … she ran around the house, on my bed, and played with me and her toys. For two weeks now all she has been doing is sleeping, getting out of her space for a few minutes, eating and that’s it. Even in her toys she hardly touches more … what should I do? Does that mean she’s depressed?

How old is she? Is she still eating and pooping normally? Bunnies often transition into a lazier existence as they mature. So if she is young, that may explain it. She may also just be more comfortable in her environment now that she has lived with you for 3 months. If she is still eating and pooping normally, I wouldn’t be overly worried.

So she’s actually fairly young to be getting a variety of vegetables.  Right now, she should really only be getting pellets and hay. It’s possible that a lot of veggies might be giving her an upset stomach because she’s not old enough to handle them yet.
