I look at his old pics every now and then and get emotional every time lol. It’s almost his one year rescue anniversary on June 17th!!

Susanne – there’s nothing like the mutual hatred for nail clipping to really bring the buns together haha

yea- for now.  I got his bigger pen today and I’ll install it tomorrow. Give him some more room to run. 

It could be frustration then. He’s probably upset because you ruined his fun.

Will he take stuff if you hand feed him?

OK- he’s back and forth.   Like content and playful- then like….. scratching at and biting the cage,  pushing things over in the pen,  etc

Some rabbits are known to grind their teeth out of frustration. It’s usually accompanied by other “miffed” behaviors though.

I agree. I can’t really tell what I’m looking at.

I’m not really into birding but trying to learn a little since I recently moved near a park. Have you used the birdNET app? You record the chirps and tells you what is the bird. When I was very little, six/seven, I had a pair of French Lips, Leo and Mary.  Leo is a good name!  I named mine from the Serendipity books and Mary was my best friend.  Which is kinda odd/neat ‘cuz my current bff (I’m 50 now) is Mary!

Plovers are fun! Even killdeer are fun to look at, although you don’t have to go far to see them around here. LOL I love this time of year because there are a lot of birds migrating through. I like seeing all of the warblers, for example. In fact, I saw a yellow-rumped warbler the other day.

Unrelated, but it reminded me that TWICE I’ve stepped on my RitzQuaker’s tail feathers and they all came out.  She was SO miffed.

Hasn’t happened in years, so I’ve been forgiven.

What are did you get him? If you got him before he reached maturity and got hormones he could of lost his litter habits, especially if he is not neutered now or if he was neutered after these habits developed. Aww, I think it would be good for Tater Tot to have a friend. I like the foster-to-adopt option, if possible.

OK I’ll plan on that then.  Good news- today he’s coming up to me and letting me pet him.   Eating regularly.   He doesn’t really grind his teeth unless I’m next to the cage either.  But…. better safe than sorry

He’s pretty chunky. He’s not boney at all to be honest. He’s not overweight though but he’s like a good weight and I can’t feel his bones extremely. I can feel them but not excessively.

I sure she will let you know how she feels about it all! 😉
