Bun Jovi has been having slight balance issues too when cleaning his ears with his back foot, but thankfully he usually has Myra to lean up against. I know some people will add some bolsters around for the bun to lean on for extra balance, like either rolled up towels or beds with higher sides.

Hi again! Thank you to each of you for the well-wishes. I wanted to update to say that Lucy’s spay surgery went well and she is at home with us recovering! I just brought Luna home from the vet after she was there today for her ultrasound. Things get more interesting every time we do another test, lol. Congenital deafness is not well understood in rabbits. It could be tied to certain color/pattern genes, but there haven’t been enough studies on it. I’m not sure that the bunny vet is available on Fridays but I’ll give them a call. But yeah I can imagine it’s easier as the injectable is 1% and the paste is 1.87 if I remember correctly. Just not sure why they would give me an injectable to give orally rather than just… use it as an injection the way it’s supposed to be.
