Brief Luna update. Her weight seems to be hovering around 1.9kg. We finished the course of antibiotics today and have now started on the kidney medication Semintra (Telmisartan) for long term management. We need to redo her ultrasound in 6 months time to check the progression of both kidneys and her heart.

Oxbow Garden Select is my food of choice.  No wheat, corn or soy.

I use the rabbit, guinea pig and hamster versions for the crew.

Thanks for all the suggestions!!! I love the pet stroller and the fancy wagon ideas, but Milo is definitely not one of those bunnies that would chill out and flop in one, sigh. He’s giving me a sassy bunny side eye right now for even considering it.

As you can see, the pellets you have selected actually meet all of the requirements for fiber, protein, etc.

Agree with Wick, I would continue the CC until her appetite is back to normal, but it’s ok to test the waters a little to see if she’ll eat on her own if she’s hungrier.

Feeding it a bit longer than needed won’t hurt, it has lots of nutritious things in it that can help recovery after serious illness.

Of course double check all this with your vet!

From my experience, I would say the medication is causing the loose stool, not the Critical Care. Definitely keep an eye out and contact your vet if the stools do not improve.
