I’m sorry you lost him. You did what you could do, and he was as safe and comfy as could be. As Sonn said in her post, it’s very, very difficult to save an orphaned wild baby bun.

Just had to throw in that I love scarlet macaws so much XD. Definitely my favorite birds 😉

Lol the bathtub would be way way too small. He has a custom 3,000-gallon “tank” built as an extension onto his house. He has to hire professional aquarium divers to clean it. I could not begin to imagine the cost of keeping this dude.

If it is kind of dim in a room his eyes look very purple.

Tater is a butthead. Lol. He’s cute but he’s a butthead. I bought him a nice heavy ceramic bowl because I broke his while washing it. He picked up a mouthful of hay and just stuffed it into the water bowl. Lol.

Looks like the bonding is going great! And grooming already?! In a few more days they’ll be inseparable! 😉

I have bonded 5 pairs of bunnies and none of them did any speed dating or had met before they were introduced in my home, so it’s entirely possible to bond bunnies without that. I have never experienced this, but I would definitely suggest taking him to the vet if you are unsure. I’m sorry for my lack of knowledge regarding this topic – I’m sure other members on here could offer some helpful advice ♥ 

Has anyone dealt with this before?
