I also dont know how the infection advances. Should it have been worse by now? Because during this one month it has almost been the same, is that normal or should he have shown more symptoms if he had an infection?

When buns get older, they can start to get a bit lazy with box habits, so sometimes a box with lower sides can help.

I agree with Wick. Sometimes significant is going on if you have tearing to the point of fur loss. Your bunny could have a tooth root issue or a blocked tear duct. You should probably have x-rays done to rule out possible causes.

Yes, I’m always suspicious when a vet focuses only on pasteurella. As Wick as, there are a lot of different types of bacteria that cause cause a URI. Pasteurella is just one of them. Hmm… like @Cinnamon Bun, I have never had experience with this and would definitely recommend taking her to a vet. Poor girl, hope she feels better soon 🙂
