My rabbit loves pets but hates being brushed. It’s taken her a really long time to warm up to it. I find I get luckier if I distract her with something else, like greens or a chew stick.

I moved their cage to another spot in the room and deep cleaned everything. I had them on the dryer to try and stress them a bit in the meantime. He went back to mounting when I put them back but I decided to pick him up and move him every time he tried it and he’s calmed down. This is good info! I had looked into them a while back but ended up not getting one because I figured it would get clogged with hay. But in our new place we sweep up the hay more easily so this would prob help a lot with the fur dust-bunnies!

Haha! My pairs do this too! Sometimes the bun on the bottom starts to run and the top bun goes for a ride LOL

Oh I went through something really similar with one of my pairs with an elder male bun! We moved and he was mounting OBSESSIVELY. I had to separate them overnight because she wasn’t able to eat or rest and I was worried he was going to have a heart attack.

We’ve had a few threads on essential oils over the years on the forum and the consensus (backed up by vets consulted) has been that it isn’t considered safe to use oil diffusers around rabbits (or cats or dogs as well).
