    Hey yall!

So our new house will be finished in a couple months. I have a nook in my room which I want to convert into a rabbit pen. I want to put some chew-safe trim in there and buy a baby gate with a door on it to keep her in. But my buddy suggested that I put fake grass in her enclosure.

So is fake grass safe for rabbits in an indoor…[Read more]

I think you can… but you may need to wait until she is finished. I agree with Dana, you may have better luck on a form like RabbitsOnline simply because there are probably not a lot of people here experienced with this topic.

I think the first step is probably to start clicker training your bun. 🙂 Training the bun to “target” is the first step to lots of agility stuff.  I would start with that before moving on to harnesses.

From the rabbit agility stuff I’ve seen, people seem to make it themselves or use things for small dogs?

    Hi there,

I think that moving to the same room side by side will actually help the bonding process a lot. You do need to be careful they can’t get at each other, but usually side-by-side living (and side swapping) helps a lot. I also think having that set up will take some of the pressure off to get them bonded quickly, which will be less…[Read more]

Hi there, since intentionaly breeding discussion isn’t allowed here I don’t think many of us will know the answer to this!

I think the short answer is ‘no’ but I honestly don’t know. You might try asking on rabbitsonline.net , as there are more people experienced with breeding there (you might even be able to search that forum and find an answer…[Read more]

I’m not sure, I’ve never heard what clucking sounds like. I was very surprised because it sounded exactly like a mouse lol.

My old account didn’t work so I had to create a new one. I’ve just lost my 11 yr old baby Tootoo on Wednesday night. I felt like she took a piece of my heart with her when she passed. She was generally healthy. Still active up and looked pretty young up until 2 days before she passed.

Tootoo had started to show problems since she turned 8 and…[Read more]

I have tried bonding these 2 rabbits before and gave up.  Both are neutered.  Mochi is a Netherland Dwarf and Snowy is a Mini Lop.  Mochi is 6 months older.  Mochi is dominant, more active, and smarter.  I had her since she was a baby.  Snowy sleeps by my feet while I work at the computer every day.  I’ve had her since she was about 6 months…[Read more]

Thanks for your kind words Dana. Fingers crossed for little Richard. I presume he may always have a pointing-out leg, just hope him not in pain.

One of my rabbits doesn’t like harnesses but my other rabbit does and both are fine with new places. I was hoping to train my rabbit Ollie ( the one that is okay with it ) because I think he will enjoy it. I was hoping to train him before contacting but I don’t know where to get the agility equipment from.

I only have seen postings on social media around competitive rabbit agility. From what I’ve seen, they are always harnessed. If you are looking to enter a specific competition or association that holds these events, contacting them may be the best bet in finding what I assume to be standardized rabbit agility equipment?

As a general note, some…[Read more]

Does anyone know where to get rabbit agility equipment. I am looking to train my bunnies. Also do they need to be harnessed when doing jumps or not?
