A slight whistle when he breathes may not warrant the terbutalin. I would think you would only use that if he was having trouble breathing. If he doesn’t seem distressed or having a hard time breathing, then it should be OK to wait to see if the antibiotic is working. As Bam said, it can take a few days.

So that’s a lot of mozzarella sticks…  I assume that was essentially a lot of breading and cheese. If she is showing signs of pain, it is likely gastric distress as her system is not equipped to handle that quantity of bread/dairy. It’s not normal, but the Bactrim needs at least 72 hours to make a difference. So its much too soon to say. You should treat with Bactrim for at least 2 weeks, but longer time might be needed.
