Yes, Normally Cookie looks good, energy, eating, drinking, pooping looks good.
It’s here at 9:00am right now. The sound seems to have decreased more when breathing today. I will continue to watch a little more.

Hey guys sorry for taking so long to reply. My mom decided to talk to her friend who is a vet tech about this and her friend suggested that Mustache definitely needed to go to the vet. So she has an appointment tomorrow morning!! :))) also when I said she was panting I meant that she was breathing very fast not that she was breathing out fo her…[Read more]

A slight whistle when he breathes may not warrant the terbutalin. I would think you would only use that if he was having trouble breathing. If he doesn’t seem distressed or having a hard time breathing, then it should be OK to wait to see if the antibiotic is working. As Bam said, it can take a few days.

Thank you so much for your kind words. It made me feel better knowing that she is now pain free as it was clear she was in pain before she passed. I told her I will join her one day and hope she would understand.

So that’s a lot of mozzarella sticks…Â I assume that was essentially a lot of breading and cheese. If she is showing signs of pain, it is likely gastric distress as her system is not equipped to handle that quantity of bread/dairy. I don’t think any ingredients in moz. sticks are inherently ‘toxic’ to rabbits— just not good. At the best, with…[Read more]

hi all..my holland lop managed to inhale about 6 mozzarella sticks and tomato sauce that i left on a paper plate overnight. she can’t normally reach the table they were on, but my boyfriend moved the coffee table yesterday and forgot to put it back so she took the opportunity to use it as a springboard….now she’s digging at the floor and…[Read more]

I just looked at terbutaline forensic drug and it is available in turkey. Now I asked the vet and she said it’s not necessary but I don’t believe the vet is even as knowledgeable as those on this forum, frankly I don’t trust her but I have no choice but her. Do you think I should buy and use this drug, what would your suggestion be?
Frankly I…[Read more]

I got another bunny about two months ago and have had cinnimon for about two years. The new bunny Ollie drinks water and eats a lot more hay than cinnimon. I dont know if this is bad or doesn’t matter?

It’s not normal, but the Bactrim needs at least 72 hours to make a difference. So its much too soon to say. You should treat with Bactrim for at least 2 weeks, but longer time might be needed.
My bun who had a lung infection got both Bactrim and terbutalin (pills for babies that I dissolved in water) to help him breathe. (Terbutalin is a…[Read more]

I noticed something when Cookie lay on my chest. I heard the sound of breathing because my ear was too close to his nose and I didn’t like it. When I pressed my ear to Cookie’s nose, I heard Cookie’s breath sound like a little whistle. Is this normal, do rabbits normally make noises when they breathe, or is it because of their illness? Is cookie’s…[Read more]

It’s normal for a bun to like scratching pillows and have little interest in toys. Edible toys might be an option, such as toys made of willow. Apple twigs are also often popular with buns.

No I am in my room alone,
And as for the activities I can’t seem to find anything else he likes to do, he only likes to scratch pillows, do you think this is normal? And do u have any suggestions as to what toys he might be interested in cause I just want to make sure he is happy.

Since bonding seems unlikely due to time, I would say you want to maximize your rabbits space and engagement opportunities in the dorm (but don’t just clog his pen with random toys as that cuts down on overall room!)
This can be hiding stuff so he finds them throughout the day, setting up stuff so he needs to work for the food, etc.. snuffle mats…[Read more]
