She’s so much better. Not 100% but she had a stressful 48 hours. She’s eating here and there, drinking water and pooping here and there. Eating hay and veggies and pellets. She I put my hand in her cage she comes to it now when before she didn’t even move and let me push her around without anything. Now she won’t let me push her cause she gets pi…[Read more]

Have you considered checking the guinea pig cages store? They have these great chloroplast edging to prevent chewing.

My rabbits chew the coraplast of their cage. I have been looking for nibble guards but can’t find any, other than a 20 dollar one. I am on the USA. Does anyone know anywhere I can get those. Also I am looking for a c&c door gird but failed to find that too. I need one that is 13.8 by 13.8 ( can’t be square holes only rectangle otherwise my bun…[Read more]

Unfortunately I am not good at pinning down breeds, BUT  I am absolutely in love with both of them. Some people really like the squished dwarf faces, but I have found the longer faces to be so full of personality and poise.

If you take both to a rabbit-experienced, exotic vet, they should be able to estimate the age. It looks roughly like both w…[Read more]

No way to give you an estimate, but yeah it’s going to take time. As long as you’re continuing to see increasingly good signs, that’s positive.

Will she take a day or so to be back to normal 100% she’s pooping and eating but not moving around as much. Is that normal just wondering.

(knowing add’l details from your post on Rabbits online) You also mention this dried brown. That is an indication that it is likely blood. You also mention that there are no rabbit vets in your area.

If you have a first aid kit or general medical supplies, you can put a few drops of hydrogen peroxide on the stain. If it bubbles, that means it’s…[Read more]

Hey guys! I have a year and a half old male bunny. I just noticed this today and it freaked me out. This happened when he peed. Is it blood? Is there any way to tell if it’s blood? My bunny seems to be normal otherwise – eating, pooping, playing, etc. But this happened twice today. There doesn’t seem to be any stain when this dries up. I noticed a…[Read more]

She’s just laying in her cage right now relaxing. The poop is legit flowing out of here it’s kind of gross haha. You look and there’s like 6 or 7 at the end falling out. Gonna take a bit to be 100% back to normal lol

It’s not out of the ordinary, but how common it is varies between countries and states/ regions but it also varies between vet clinics. A blockage typically requires longer time at the vet than gut stasis without a blockage.

Looking closely at the picture, it almost looks like a film is forming on the cornea. This happens when there is an injury and the body is trying to protect it.
