I’m getting ready to place a binky order….the hay I was going to buy is out of stock (bunny blend).  Does anyone have suggestions on what I should get instead?  My buns are hay snobs and Leo often requires force hay feeding.  Recently I have been giving them an Orchard blend.  I got a sample of Oat but they didn’t go ga-ga for it.  I’m I expecting too much w/ a hay relationship?  Please give me suggestions for picky buns.

        Thanks!

I buy the Timothy hay from Binky and Edson adores it!  Have you tried the Timothy from them? I have wanted to try the Bunny Blend to mix in with the timothy but they are out of stock like you say.  I have heard that the Meadow Mix is great too and it does not have oat hay in it, I don’t think.  I guess I will try that until the other comes in.

My little snobs can’t stand Timothy hay.  Especially Leo.  He’s the worst when it comes to hay, you almost have to chew it and put it in his mouth for him.  Sometimes I stick the hay in a paper bag w/ craisins, just so he goest through the motion of eating hay.  He’s a real stinker!  I don’t think he got the memo from God that he’s a bunny!

Woohoo! I’m all over that, or rather, my bunnies are twitching with excitement!

Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you.  I have  been out of town.  So, in the future, if we are out of bunny blend, I would try the meadow mix and/or Orchard.
