  A few days ago, I found out about a shelter challenge from the Animal Rescue Site. The current challenge is called the All Grown Up Birthday Shelter Challenge. It started on July 8 and ends on August 21. There are shelters listed from all over the country. I think it’s just shelters in the U.S., but I’m not sure. There are rabbit rescues included. You register then you can vote daily.

  I wanted to add that you can use the search engine on their website to find rescues. You can search by the rescue name or you can search for rescues in your state or a nearby state if you are trying to help local rescues. Even though this contest name is called the Shelter Challenge, animal shelters, rescues, foster organizations and sanctuaries are eligible to win as long as they are registered on the site and have a 501 (c)3 status. It’s a quick, easy and free way to help rescues.
