So my bun feel a lot more better than his first day of stasis it been past few days he only pick a little bit of timothy hay he still eat few (I just force feed him minced wet timothy hay which i make new everytime i force feed him poop gotten better but still not consistence in size since is eating few). But today i don’t see him eat it. so i tried rubbing grapes on it which he did consume should i change hay or him being picky on eating is still part of gi stasis? Bene bac arive today should i give it to him and what’s the dosage his 2.4 kilo. Though i would search how much dosage should i give since i forgotten it.

I’m glad he’s eating his hay again! GI stasis recovery is often long and slow and a gas problem can make buns reluctant to eat.

Eating hay is super important, so you can offer a variety of grass hays to him and see what he likes. You don’t need to worry about changing between grass hays, that doesn’t shock a rabbit’s system the way switching between pellets or veggies does.

Agree that stasis recovery can be slow, and “picky” eating is usually a sign of lingering pain. Keep encouraging him to eat hay and drink water.
