Does anyone purchase insurance for their bunnies? I was looking at the website under Links on purchasing insurance for lullabelle, but I don’t see where it says what is covered. Does anyone have this and can tell me if it is any good and if you know if it covers spaying?

Gee I didn’t know you could get insurance for rabbits.

I will have to check here in Aussie land, but I bet we will have nothing here. 🙁

I have VPI for both my bunnies. They seem really good and have paid out when we needed them too. They even sent our buns birthday cards (so cute!).

I think I also mentioned this in the other pet insurance discussion – but with 7 bunnies, I found it more economical to put money in a savings account rather than pay the pet insurance. The one I had was about $12 per month, so now I just put the equivalent of that for each bunny into an ING account so that it will earn interest and be there when I need it
