        Hi everyone

I adopted a one year old male bunny just over a month ago. I named him Loppi. His favorite food is carrots, and he gets pretty crazy for pellets too. He doesn’t like to play very much, but sometimes he likes to run around. He is pretty curious when he sees something new though. He doesn’t like to be picked up but he likes to be petted. Sometimes we give him a massage and he loves that.

        Here he is:

Welcome! Your bunny is so handsome! I do love the lop-eared bunnies and I’ve never seen one quite that color before. He is lovely! He sounds vvery much like my lop bunny, Mimzy. Carrots are right up there with blueberries for favorite treats.
Glad to have you with us. We hope you enjoy it here. And thank you for adopting Loppi!

Aww he is so cute! I really like his coloring. How are things working out for you with litter box training? In the first picture I saw quite a few poops strewn around If he is having issues, feel free to ask questions, or poke around the site and the forum for litter box training tips!

He sometimes pees in his litter box, but sometimes he pees on his blankie. He does poop everywhere except in the litterbox I’ve tried to scoop all his poop to the litterbox to try to teach him, but he still continues. Do you have any advice? He was neutered just before we got him, about a month and a half ago.

Yep. Hay in the litter box only – they often like to poop and eat at the same time. You’re on the right track, picking up the stray poops and putting them back in the litter box. When you find pee on his blankie, clean it up right away using a 50/50 vinegar/water solution or toss it in the wash. Even if it’s dry, the urine will still have an odor and he’ll be drawn to those spots to pee. Also, wipe up fresh pee spots with a couple tissues and toss them in the litter box too.

He does have unique coloring, very, very light tan! Another member has a lop named Howie and I think his coloring is somewhat similar…

                            What a cutie! Welcome here!

Thanks for the tip Barbie…I will definately try the tissue with Gulliver.  He WAS trained to go in his box & then we re-arranged furniture & now he’s being a pill.  We actually got excited ’cause he went 4 days with no accidents, until yesterday!  In theory, the tissue idea is GREAT!  Wish me luck…AND WELCOME EDDA – HOW ADORABLE!
