Hi, i entered a rabbit contest just for fun, and i ended up winning. It was great, never won anything in my life. I won an absoloutely massive rabbit kingdom hutch thing. It has 2 rabbit hutches which are suitable for a mini lop each, a 2 story rabbit hutch (again suitable for 2 mini lops), a 6 foot run,  and 3 seperate runs which can be used to link the hutches. I think its absolutely great, and has a lot of space. I wanted to know if it is OK to put a house bunny in an outdoor hutch? He lived outdoors until 5 months of age. Would it change his behaviour? Would he even want to come indoors for play time? ive not had a bunny outdoors before. If you do think its a bad idea, then can you think of any large indoor cages. I have tried NIC, but cant seem to find any in the UK. Any help will be appreciated. thanks

Well, I am more of an advocate for indoor bunnies, and using safe outdoor runs for playtime. What do the runs look like, do you have picture? So if it were me, I would use the runs for supervised outdoor play, and either bring the hutches, if they were nice, inside or sell the hutches for some extra doe to build something that fits your home. Check out our homemade abodes in the pen section.  https://binkybunny.com/Default.aspx?tabid=71

Also, here are some UK based places you can find cube type structures –

        • Wikes Hardware Stores (in store)

http://goldenbunnies.org.uk/ar/t3458.htm Have a look on here, they say B&Q. Definitely seen cage things in Wickes here, and try ScrewFix!!! They do wire cage type things that I’m sure you could do something with. 🙂 Make sure you post pics when you’ve finished your creation!!!!

Just wanted to ask if Argos still sell the cubes. Ive checked the new book and the website, but dont think that they sell them anymore. i wouldnt buy from screwfix, because the wires have too small spacing, and displaysense are way too expensive. I havent tried wickes yet though.

I also would discourage you from moving your bunny outdoors too. I posted a link recently about NIC cubes in the UK, after doing a bunch of research. You might also call Argos to see if they can order them for you.
