        Hi Everyone,

My little boy Binx has had stasis before so I know not to chance it.  I took him to the emergency vet the night before last when he wasn’t eating/pooping for about 6 hours.  He started eating on his own at the vet and they sent me home with Metacam, some antacids and and appointment to trim what appears to be molar spurs.  He was fine all day yesterday and this morning until about 9AM.  He was binkying all over the place, digging and playing, then he just stopped and started pressing his tummy to the floor.  After that he stopped eating, even his favorite treats were snubbed.  Anytime one of my buns has had stasis issues it doesn’t onset in 2 minutes and come and go.  Has anyone had something similar happen?

        Thanks in advance!

Might just be gas. I’d try Simethicone and see if that helps.

I’d try simeticone baby gas drops too. 1 ml every hour for 3 hours, then less often. It often helps within 30 minutes or less. Gas is painful for rabbits and very common after a bout of stasis.
