How confused?!  Whilst at the vets with Bean & Bum Monday morning, I got them to recheck the Bean’s bits, just for peace of mind as I was still thinking of HEr as my little girl.  She looked, got a second opinion and confirmed 100% WE HAVE OUR BETTIE BEAN back again!!!!!!!!  Just goes to show you should always go with your gut instinct and much to the annoyance of my other half and his always silencing me with, "the rabbits are fine, the Vet (a professional) said so!, the vet said this, the vet said that.." … Ha big spitty raspberry in his face, "I WAS RIGHT AGAIN I WAS RIGHT AGAIN, NYAH NYAH ne NYAH NYAH!!!"

Bean seems to have taken it upon herself to "act up" now though.  From the moment I got home with them she’s been an absolute terror and has been driving Brian mad constantly trying to hump whatever end of the Bum was easiest to mount.  We’ve had to lock Bean in her cage today (poor baby), to give Brian a bit of peace whilst his meds work their magic (with a little help from a great huge bunch of parsley, mint & chickweed) and shift what must be a binbag full of his fur, in his poor little belly.  (not that you want to know I’m sure, but his poops are back to normal!!! whooohooo!)

wow sounds like a lot of excitement! glad to hear your gut instinct was right 🙂 hope Brian is feeling much better soon.

Poopy, bum is British slang for butt! I think it’s just that Brian is trying to mount Bean anyway he can.

Yeah, BETTIE is a BETTIE.  No drag queen bunny there!  Good news!  So it’s not unusual for bunnies to "act up" after they come back from the vet.  They have unusual smells all over them that makes them feel a bit insecure.

I think it would be a good idea to pet both of them thoroughly and mix their scent.

Bum & Bean had their little trip to the vets together so they both reeked of that horrible vet smell.  I got home from work yesterday to find (the boyfriend finished early so let Bean out) the buns sprawled out together under the bed, good as gold.  They both nearly knocked me over to get to the parsley, basil and fresh peas (they hadn’t had basil before then, but it certainly makes their poopy breath fresher), then spent the rest of the evening circling each other, with Brian refusing point blank to let WeenyBean take charge, and it seems the Bean is quite QUITE happy to let Brian assert his now confirmed heterosexuality.  And as for the improving state of the Bum’s fur blocked stomach….I was under the bed yesterday, and turned to be confronted with a couple of THE biggest ploooops I think I’ve ever seen!
