I noticed how much Dono likes to toss tongue depressers so I took two and put them through a paper tube perpendicular to one another.  That way, some end is always sticking up and he just grabs and throws it.  Apparently Maryann has decided that if she eats away the cardboard tube, the sticks will then lay flat and he’ll stop tossing it around.

If you don’t have tongue depressers or popsicle sticks, you can use the left over sticks from a willow treat that your buns destroy.

That’s a great idea! Hubby tried to use to rolls to create a cross type thing, but it didn’t work out very well. We’ll have to try it your way with some sticks.

Oh my gosh! cool Ideas! My bun will usually eat the carboard, rather than chew it, maybe he won’t eat the sticks!

Here’s a picture of it.  They destroy these as quickly as I make them.

I think I posted this somewhere else but I think it got missed?

There are rescues now that do not allow people to bring in Popsicle Sticks used in rabbit toys because they can cause fatal harm. Because the wood splinters it causes a risk when ingested to rip thru the digestive track.

I have used popsicle sticks for a long time i think w/o harm but you never know. Woods that do not splinter are safe.
