Well I guess the meds are just too gross, I couldn’t really get anybun to eat them in other food. So stuck with the force feeding which Ruby is not doing well from. Max bounces back, but she is acting depressed. She has slowed down eating but not stopped completely so I think OK for now.

Thank you very much for the input. I think that is the best idea. I already have them on the floor now and they are doing well so I don’t want to rush it. I can deal with it, its not really that bad.  So we will stay in the bath room for a while longer! They are starting to get really cure with each other 🙂

Yeah, the hay had a lot of fluff seeds in many parts of the hay and one of my buns was sneezing but she’s enjoying them! That’s good to know, my buns usually eat the dandelion stem and the flower itself, they enjoy it a lot and I’ve never fed them the seeds before.

Thanks for the ideas! I’ll try getting her up on a table. I used to be able to get her in a carrier, but I think she now associates it with the vet..So I will try the litter box idea.

Good point @LBJ10, or a private rehoming (not sure if there’s an equivalent of craigslist in the Netherlands)?

Oh, and an added tip, you might try training her to go into her litter box or a carrier, and then move her to the table that way. A lot of members have had success doing that to move their bunnies without having to pick them up.

One of my buns was also in the shelter for a long time (about 3 years) and hates being picked up and only tolerates the occasional nose rub. With her I only tend to groom her when she’s molting (she tends to have really big molts, all at once). OK, well if he triggers are simply you entering her space and not something more specific, then I agree with the others. She may be feeling she needs to defend her entire area, which can be very stressful.
