He is likely fine at this point, yes.

I have used just larger pieces of crumpled up brown paper, usually I just repurpose it from when I get a package in the mail that uses it as packaging. I’ll stuff it in their tunnels and their maze.  It’s not quite digging, but my buns will shred it up and push it around to “burrow”. They may eat a little but if it’s not huge amounts it’s safe.

I thought about carefresh but she eats everything! She ate the paper as well. I don’t want her eating bedding.

One of the leads at the rescue I volunteer at always says that “rabbits don’t speak rabbit”, and compared them all to 14 year olds at their first school dance LOL

Color and consistency do matter, but from what I see those poops are all in the range of normal healthy poops! Unless the broken up one was really squishy? It’s a little out of focus in the picture so maybe I’m not seeing it properly.  As Bam said, the darker onion smelly ones are probably territorial ones.

Thank you! I just checked on him and he is his normal crazy self running around and thumping and begging for treats. I gave him the simethicone around dinner time last night so I assume I would know if there was anything to be worried about by now?

It looks to be ear mites bc she has these crusts and darkness on her ears and I’ve got a dose of revolution i have to pick up today and i was gonna follow through with the treatment. although she does have a forage mat that i was going to wash and i was worried about her being reinfected bc of her hay feeder being out of wood.

Marking poops have a strong smell, often decribed as onion-like. All rabbits, intact or neutered, will sometimes produce marking poop. Yeah, I used a very large tray thinking they would see it more as a “hay station” vs a litter box, but with this I’ll just do 2 stations of hay on a puppy pad to start tomorrow. Having 2 should help too I think.. It will be easier to clean for a long day/ marathon also!

Oooh, one thing is I usually don’t add hay trays or litter boxes until they are doing really well together. They do tend to cause disputes, as you noticed, but it’s really good they were able to share the tray a little! I usually just put down puppy pee pads with big pile of hay in the middle. It’s definitely kind of a mess unfortunately.

Those poops all look perfectly normal to me!

Sorry to bother but I have just found these in the litter box. Some of them are normal and other are moister and darker than usual. There is hay in it but they are moist inside and outside. Oh I forgot, at one point they were both on the hay tray eating together, so it was very back and forth with positive/ negative until by the end Maxwell gave up trying and she was getting possessive, etc.
